Fake messages sent in our name
Last updated: 2026-08-20
Fraudulent SMS and email are sometimes sent using e-commerce brand names. They are not hard to spot.
Things we will NEVER ask for
- Your card number, CVC or card PIN
- The verification code your bank sends you
- Your site password
- "Your payment failed, enter your card here" urgency messages
Checklist
- Hover over the link without clicking: if the domain is not www.wampcostume.com, the message is not from us.
- A "your parcel is on its way" message for an order you never placed can be ignored.
- When in doubt, go to the site directly and check your orders rather than using the link in the message.
Forward suspicious messages with a screenshot to [email protected]. If you entered card details, contact your bank immediately and have the card blocked.
Our payment flow always runs on the site and through 3D Secure — see payment security.
